For the first 6 hours – Do not lie down. It is best to keep your body in an upright position such as walking or sitting. If you have to sleep lying down then please use 2 pillows to support your head.
For the first 24 hours – Please adhere to these instructions. No facials. No hot water splashing on your face. Do not use a helmet, for the motorbike riders. No hat or cap since this will press against the area of your forehead where your BOTOX treatment is located. No body massage since your body massage will cause you to lie down
Please avoid the sun for these first 24 hours also. Also, we ask that you avoid sweating as much as possible. Thus, avoid any type of exercise or activity that would cause you to sweat more than normal, because the more you sweat, the less the BOTOX treatment will last.
For the first 48 hours – Lastly, Dr. Jeanny suggest you wear sun screen with SPF minimum 30++. And apply again every 3 hours when you have activity under the sun. Lastly for smokers, please slow down your smoking for these next 48 hours. The nicotine in your body that you inhale will lessen the BOTOX treatment.
